Free Beach of Castelletto
Just 50 metres from the B&B, on the right, directly by the rocks. A convenient free beach that is easily accessible on foot.

Approximately 6 km away – one of the most beautiful beaches on the Ligurian coast, located between Varigotti and Noli.

Baia dei Saraceni – Free Beach
Approximately 5.8 km away – one of the most famous and spectacular bays in Liguria.

Spiaggia Tueste – Free Beach
Approximately 6.2 km away – a beautiful stretch of coastline where you can also find quieter spots.

Cave at Spiaggia Tueste
A small sea cave, ideal for those who enjoy discovering the most characteristic corners of the coast.

Varigotti Beach
One of the main beaches in the area, while the village of Varigotti is particularly charming and picturesque.

Finalmarina Beach
The beach in the centre of Finale: very convenient if you want to combine the sea with a walk, restaurants and ice cream shops. It is also one of the main beaches officially recognised in the area.

Spiaggia del Porto or della Selva
A different type of beach from the small coves of Varigotti and Malpasso. This stretch of coastline is among the areas recognised with the Blue Flag. The sand is very fine, although seaweed may sometimes accumulate.

Places to Visit

Finalborgo
Approximately 4.2 km away – also easily reachable by bus. One of Italy’s most beautiful historic villages, with charming narrow streets, small squares, restaurants, ice cream shops and boutiques.

Forte San Giovanni
Approximately 5.5 km away – reachable by bus or car. The fortress overlooks the Finalborgo area and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

Varigotti
Approximately 5.5 km away – one of the most charming seaside villages on the Riviera di Ponente, famous for its colourful houses directly by the sea.

Grotte di Borgio Verezzi
Approximately 6.7 km away – reachable by car. A fascinating underground journey through the caves, with spectacular natural rock formations.

Noli
Approximately 9.6 km away – easily reachable by bus or car. An ancient seaside village rich in history, with a beautiful historic centre and a lovely seafront promenade.

Parking and Access to the Property

You can leave your car in front of the entrance of the property for a few minutes to unload your luggage.

Afterwards, you can use the Google Maps locations below for paid parking during the day (in my opinion, mainly useful on the first day), and then move the car in the evening to one of the free parking areas listed below.

How to Get Here – Via San Donato 2, Finale Ligure

By car:
Enter San Donato Beach into Google Maps. The pink house is directly opposite. Enter the courtyard and keep to the right, following the oleander bushes. The apartment is on the ground floor.

Do not use the address, as Google Maps may direct you through Le Manie along a very narrow road.

By train:
Get off at Finale Ligure railway station. The distance to the property is approximately 2 km. You can use:

• BUS: Bus 40, with a stop directly in front of the house.
• TAXI: call a taxi by phone; search for Taxi Finale Ligure.

Sailing Trips & Boat Excursions

Just 200 metres from B&B Giardino sul Mare, you can enjoy wonderful sailing trips along the beautiful Ligurian coast.

You can choose from different experiences, including boat excursions, sailing trips, sunset aperitifs and excursions with dinner on board.

A special way to discover the coast from the sea, relax and admire the scenery of Finale Ligure and the Riviera di Ponente from a completely different perspective.

Mountain Biking & Trekking

Finale Ligure is one of the world’s best-known destinations for mountain biking, with an extensive network of trails immersed in nature and offering spectacular sea views.

The area offers routes of varying difficulty, suitable for MTB and e-bikes as well as trekking and hiking.

Mountain bike enthusiasts can choose from numerous trails of different difficulty levels, while those who prefer walking can enjoy beautiful trekking routes and panoramic walks.

Among the most interesting areas are Le Manie, Altopiano delle Mànie, Finalborgo, Caprazoppa and Verezzi, with trails that combine sport, nature and spectacular views over the Riviera di Ponente.

Climbing

Finale Ligure is one of Europe’s best-known destinations for sport climbing. The Finale area offers thousands of climbing routes on beautiful limestone walls, surrounded by nature and, in some areas, with spectacular views of the sea.

There are climbing areas and routes suitable for different levels of experience, from beginners to experienced climbers. Among the best-known areas are Rocca di Perti, Monte Cucco, Monte Sordo, Rocca di Corno and Boragni.

For those who want to try climbing for the first time, or would like to be accompanied by a guide, courses and excursions with local mountain guides are available.
